Sprinkle Spangles back in the spotlight

Many ’90s kids often tell us they hope the genie from Sprinkle Spangles will grant a wish: Bring back the short-lived sugar cookie, sprinkle-covered cereal.

But while that wish will have to remain ungranted, we did choose it to be the focus of the first episode of our new video series on our YouTube channel: “Inside the General Mills Archives.”

Jessica Faucher, our archivist, joins Katie Gamache from our Archives team to chat about the magic behind Sprinkle Spangles.

“Inside the General Mills Archives” will appear monthly and feature many of your favorite products and promotions from the past, plus people or projects that were a big part of the company’s history.

Subscribe to our YouTube channel to be notified when the latest episode is posted. We’ll also announce them each month here on “A Taste of General Mills.” Inside-the-General-Mills-Archives-logo
